General Description: Train and supervise HBTS/PASS treatment staff in implementation of HBTS/PASS Treatment Plans, develop individual treatment plans and relevant measurement systems; design and assist in the management of research projects; participate in program development activities as designated by the director; provide parent training, consult to public schools, etc. Promote an individual focus that supports dignity, protection of rights and furthers the organization’s mission, philosophy and values.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be a Rhode Island licensed health care professional eligible to provide clinical supervision as outline in State of Rhode Island Department of Human Services Certification Standards for Providers of Home Based Therapeutic Services. This may include one of the following categories: licensed independent clinical social worker, Marriage and family therapist, mental health counselor, registered nurse with a Master’s degree, Psychologist. A minimum of 3 years working with children and families in a home based setting preferred. Minimum of three years working with children or adults with special health care needs. Previous supervision experience required. LICSW preferred, LCSW required.
Job Responsibilities: Protect the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental disabilities and extend these rights and dignities to family members or guardians. Uphold and comply with all safety programs and policies to maintain a safe work environment for employees, consumers, family members and visitors. Commit to organizational quality initiatives by participating in programs that will assure quality improvements and team processes, including regular attendance at staff meetings. Oversee the development and implementation of individual treatment programs; develop and maintain appropriate behavior analytic measurement systems for individual child goals and objectives. Develop individual child goals and objectives. Implement relevant staff management instruments. Organize structure of teaching environments. Supervise and train all specialized treatment workers. Develop proposals for funding for children for home-based programs. Follow all agency guidelines and department specific policies.
